Bello is Doing Great and Animal Planet!

Baby Bello is doing great on her second day in the wide open world. She stays right by her mommy and keeps a sharp eye out for whatever is going on around her. She's very attached to people as well and when Tawnee enters the pen she will look up and nicker. She likes sucking on people's noses, a habit that cannot be allowed to continue into adulthood! For now it's pretty cute... Maybe you'll see a picture of it on the blog soon.

We were on Animal Planet today! We won't post a whole lot of information on our blog, it's all right on our website for your reading pleasure. We enjoyed the episode very much, we had to go visit one of our friends to see the show as we don't have broadcast TV since we enjoy working with the animals too much to want to watch other people work with animals. We live the shows every day. They just don't show enough dirt, exhaustion and muddy feet. We added a new page all about Mya, please check it out, the link is right on our homepage. It will give you more insite into her rescue and our perspective of the whole thing.

We have an update on LoLa "Yuma's Jewel." Her adopter says: "In the picture I've attached she had just had a bath. She was running, bucking, kicking and as you can see, rearing up. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen. She's had another growth spurt so we've had to up her feed intake." It so great to see this foal full of energy, quite a contrast to the weak, skinny foal we rescued.

She was rescued from a feedlot right before being ship to Mexico for slaughter. To watch Lola's rescue click this link. You Tube - Horses Saved from Slaughter Feedlot. LoLa is the little foal laying down at the feedlot.

Wow a Busy Day With a Big Suprise!

Today started fairly uneventful, we were getting ready for a usually busy Sunday. We fed the horses, everyone seemed happy and content as usual with no signs of abnormalities. A new volunteer came out about 10:30 and began grooming the horses. About 11:00 some potential adopters came out to see the horses, and Tawnee noticed that Truffles, a horse that is waiting for transpotation to her new home, was laying down and looking odd. Sure enough, she had decided to lay down right then and there and give birth. The group of 10 that Tawnee was showing horses to had a delightful visit as they were wide eyed and tickled pink as they got to see Bello (Italian for "Beautiful") enter the world.

Halfway through the labor, Truffles decided she had enough with this business. She is only 3 years old, and was confused and bewildered by the weird happenings, so she decided to get up and walk away from her troubles. But she was walking away with a baby that was half out! So Tawnee had to walk around holding a half born baby until Truffles decided to lay back down and get the job over with.

Truffles ended up being a very good mommy, and she and baby are doing great!

Truffles gave birth quite unexpectedly in one of our larger pens with about 10 other horses, and so as quickly as we could we moved mommy and baby down to our mare motel. If there's a next time for your Truffles, please show some signs of being ready to pop! Jason had to carry Bello, but it's ok, it's not everyday he gets to pick up a horse. Bello is the first baby ever born at our ranch, what a special girl.

All-at-Once was adopted today into her new forever home! She is a lucky girl and will be very well cared for.

Our new volunteer, Rebecca, is a doggy groomer by trade, and she is now turning a new leaf and is now becoming our volunteer horse groomer. She had hair flying every direction today, and now our round-pen has a nice soft footing called "hair." If Chester bucks Deb off again, at least she'll have a soft landing! A big thank you Rebecca for giving so many horses a make-over!

Crisco is doing great, we got an update on him today. His mane is quite pretty!!! Sure is a great home he's living at. "Thank you so much for our Crisco, he is truly a delight to be around. Kyla has grown more and more confident and Crisco has given her his trust. What a wonderful thing to witness."

The current feedlot rescue is almost over, only $456 left to go!!! It can happen, please let it happen!

Trimming and Sweet Pea!

Sally Hugg and a bare foot trimmer student came out to practice on some knarly horse hooves today. They did a great job trimming, and we are so thankful to have Sally for a friend and for making our horses have happy hooves. She's so caring for the horses overall well being, her care goes way beyond just making sure the horse is 'good enough.'

Sweet Pea was adopted today! She will be a friend and companion for a 31 year old horse. Her adopters truly fell in love with her, during their visit Elmer gathered a handfull of alfalfa stems/hay and remarked "I have a bouquet for my new girl!" It's really sweet and we're so happy she will have a wonderful forever home. She is going to be transported to her new home sometime next week.

Got the hay covered before the rain hit thankfully. The rain should definitly help the grass grow on our 25 acres of pasture. Maybe the hay growers will start cutting soon too.

We added a new page to our website for auction rescues. The link is right on our main page, www.SaveTheHorse.com.

Tawnee got 2 e-news sent out today, one for Feedlot and another for our main emailing list. That's about 2500 emails sent in one day. We had to upgrade our e-news server, twice. That's $21 just to send out the e-news today. We probably need to find a cheaper SMTP relay service.

The feedlot rescue is in the final stages. We must raise the transporting funds by Monday, please help if you can!

Spunky and Prairie in Adoption Pending!

We got a great email from Charlie Boy's (the dark bay) adopter today with 3 pictures and a cute email saying "Just wanted to send you some more pics of my baby!!Thanks for all you do to save horses like him!!!!THANK YOU for my boy!!!" We love getting updates, so if you have adoptd a horse from us, please send us some pictures! And you may just see them here...

Today we had a family come out and visit the horses. It was a really great visit and they really enjoyed Chicklet and Magic, pictured below. They fell in love with most of the horses, but finally had to make a decision, so they chose Spunky and Prairie, who are now in adoption pending. They also gave a very generous donation to buy a load of hay. A huge "Thank You!" goes to our special guests.

Great Day for Dusty and Blaze

Today we had a very special visitor named Cathy who came with her two sons. After visiting for awhile she wrote a check for Dusty and Blaze to have the surgeries they so badly need. We were so amazed we were practically speechless, except to offer our most sincere thanks! As soon as she left we called our vet to set up the appointment, and on April 1st they are heading in for their surgeries. We are praying that their surgeries will be 100% successful and that they can lead very happy, pain free lives once it is all over. Dusty and Blaze will no longer be available until after their rehab, which will take about a month after the surgery. We are so excited!!!

Ruby Went Home.

Today Ruby got adopted and transported to her new home. What a great boarding stable she went to, nice brown buildings and barns with green trim. Very attractive place, and her new family is great too! She has a couple buddies and she is settling in quickly.

Our current fundraising effort is going OK and we are very thankful for every dollar that has been donated, but we need to raise the remaining $900 by Friday! Let's hope the funds come in and all of the horses can be saved.

Thanks to volunteers Annette and Kimmy, a lot of extra office work and data entry was done today that hasn't been done for awhile. They spent a couple hours typing furiously and organizing paperwork. Our 2007 990 is almost filed and will be up on Guidestar shortly thereafter.

Balloo was placed in adoption pending status today! We're excited about the chances of Balloo going to a great home where he can get all the love, treats and affection he deserves. We really love him, but it will be nice to have him get his own home too.

Tragic Tragic Tragic

Today Quiggly was taken up to his vet appointment to have his teethe floated. With an examination from Dr Weaver we got shocking news: "At this time the best humane thing to do is euthanize Quiggly..." She explained that Quiggly had no upper teethe, and if she did float his teethe, he would have no ability to chew his food and would most likely colic if he did manage to get some food down. He also had heart mummers and ulcers. She said if we wanted to spend thousands of dollars we could keep him alive until his body finally gave up completely, but it would not be the kindest or the most humane thing to do for him. She explained that he would only get feebler and weaker and would never have a good quality of life, and that now was the best time while he was still happy. We made the difficult decision to do what was best for Quiggly. We love you Quiggly and will really miss you!!!

While Tawnee was at the vet dealing with the difficult decision our governing body came to, Claire was adopting Baba into her new family. It's really what keeps us energized to keep rescuing, even though sometimes we must make hard decisions like Quiggly, if it was not for us Baba, a 2 month old baby when we rescued her, would have been sent to Mexico for slaughter.

Shortly after getting back from the Vet Tawnee showed our available horses to some already approved adopters and they fell in love with Ruby and she'll be going home tomorrow! It's always hard having to function with daily routines after having to deal with such a bad experience, but it's what we're all about, getting rescued horses into homes.

Crisco's adopters came down and picked him up today. He was so happy to go home with them he jumped right into their 2 horse trailer and seemed thrilled! We are so glad that he has a great home to live at forever and ever.

Petfinder, Party and an Adoption

Yes, it was one of those Sundays. No we didn't take the day off, but we did find out for sure that our episode of Petfinder on Animal Planet is going to air March 31st at 8:00 and 11:00 PM. Don't miss it! It is supposed to be the best Petfinder episode yet, and we're confident it will be. This show is called "The Carless Family." Click here for more information. For any of the new readers, this episode has our horse Mya being adopted by an incredibly awesome young lady. You won't want to miss it!

Dottie got to visit some kids that were celebrating Easter today. She was driven out to Oroville and had fun entertaining the little kids from 12:00 to 3:00 pm. She got to eat lots of yummy grass and enjoyed being petted and brushed. "Can we ride her?" was the most common question of the day. The answer was always "No, Dottie is not big enough for you to ride."

Jazz was adopted to her pre-approved home and was transported home today! What a great family, they will take super good care of sweet Jazz.

We had a potential adopter planning on coming out to visit Sweet Pea tomorrow, but we received an adoption hold on Sweet Pea late this evening, and we had to call up the poor girls mom and let her know that Sweet Pea is no longer available. It really hurt our hearts to do that, and we should have mentioned adoption holds one of the times we talked to them, but we don't want to seem pushy as it is right on the avalable page. If you are interested in adopting a particular equine, p-l-e-a-s e put an adoption hold on that equine!

And Yet Another Vet Visit

We had to take some more hay out to the foster home and we were hoping to bring some of the horses back but were unable to catch any of them. Yet again they have foiled our plans. We'll have to set up a shedule of having them fed in the correl, if they'll actually touch hay, and then have the foster mom lock them in there for us. Too much green grass for them to be interested in some old dried hay or grain, and the field is much to big to actually corner them. They are all looking really good, it's so great to see them healthy after their terrible ordeal with strangles. We thought Frosty looked a little different, but didn't realize what it was until we looked at the pictures: he's actually a paint! You can see the gray under his neck, he's a grey and white paint. Someday he'll be all white but for now it's pretty cool. We took back to the pasture and she's enjoying the pasture too now.

Deb came out today to evaluate horses, Chester only bucked her off twice. The great news is, he only goes into a buck when he's asked to canter. Anyone want a walking / trotting only trail horse? Her writeup should be on Chester's page within a week. Thanks for hanging in there Deb and for having the courage to get back on! We can't thank you enough!

This afternoon Tawnee headed out to the vet for Crisco's pre-adoption exam, which we highly recommend for any adopters, and Crisco is in absolute great health. Now we're waiting for the coggins and then he'll be off to his new forever home!

Spunky got unspunkied today. He was still sleeping in the padded room when Tawnee arrived so she had to wait to load him up until he was up and feeling better.

Another Day at the Vet...

Yesterday we got an urgent call from Jose's mom. Jose was being too rough with the goats and the baby's didn't like it. And, Jose had tears coming down his eyes from being separated from his friends here. All in all, we went up there and picked up Jose this morning. He was so glad to see us he actually got in the trailer happily. Hola Jose, como esta?

Then it was off to the vet. Come to find out, Spunky is still spunky. The vet had some emergency's come in this morning and so Spunky has another day of happiness (?) left. We have to go in tomorrow for Crisco's pre-adoption exam, courtesy of his adopter, so we will pick up the unspunkified Spunky tomorrow.

We took Dusty and Blaze in for x-rays. Dusty was in the last auction rescue, March 9th, and he was such a sweet and beautiful horse that we had no heart to let him be eaten. We could tell he was really lame, but we were hoping it was something simple. Come to find out he has navicular in both front legs and needs an approximately $600 (after discount) surgery. The surgery will relieve him of his pain and will allow him to be ridden! There is an extremely good chance that this surgery will be very successful so we are hoping to launch a fundraiser soon. This guy deserves it!

Blaze was scared to death of the radiation from the xray, she had to have a slight sedation just to mange her fears. Poor girl, she is always such a good girl, but the thought of radiation making her sterile (the vet told us to keep our girl 15' away from the xray machine so she could have babies when she grows up) was just too much. She has slight navicular in her front right, and should do fine on Bute but we would prefer her to have the same surgery, for $400. Blaze must have been drugged at the auction because there was absolutely no signs of lameness that we saw. It's sad when horses are drugged at auction because if the horse goes to a home that isn't willing to help it, it just goes from home to home without any love. It often bounces back and forth through the auction, and eventually to a slaughterhouse.

Jose and Baloo were reunited and were so happy! Baloo was walking around whinnying so softly, and Jose was just king of the pen again. He had a dust bath in his favorite dust bowl and enjoyed romping around his 300' x 250' pen. Baloo was fine while Jose was gone, but definitely prefers having him back. Baloo and Jose really do like each other and they really would love to live together forever... Anyone with enough acreage and love for them?

Our current rescue is at $1930. It's gotta go up! We only have until the 28th!!!

First Vet Trip of the Week

The long time thermometer which we've been using since 2006 died this morning. Yes, the pretty red fundraising thermometer is buried in the dust bin of ancient history. Now a pretty green one took its place, courtesy of USAFundraising.com. The fundraising is going great for the latest slaughterbound group, but we really need more help. Hopefully the Petco foundation will heed our cry for help with more pens and we will be able to bring them all here. We are currently at $1498.

Spunky is not going to be feeling so spunky after tomorrow morning. We took him to the Vet today to be operated down under and when he comes back he'll weigh a little less and will never know the joy that comes from being a dad. There's too many horses for this guy to ever be a daddy. He's spending the night in a very nice stall at the vets and will be having his operation in the morning. We have vet trips planned for each day this week, so we'll be seeing a lot of Look Ahead Vet for awhile. It's nice they're nice, makes it an enjoyable excursion. They give us such a great rescue rate too, it makes it possible for us to give the great vet care we do. We love you Look Ahead!

A brief rainstorm came by and kept the dust down on our trailer load of hay, but it didn't rain enough to cause mold. Not that the hay will last long enough to get moldy...

E-News, Flats and Spring Cleaning

Today Tawnee worked for about 7 hours on the feedlot e-news, doing her part to raise awareness to the great need of these wonderful horses in peril. The HTML was very uncooperative and she had to redo it about 5 times so it could get sent. She hopes you all enjoyed reading it because she is sick and tired of that particular e-news. It was sent to 674 people. Let's hope we can get the funds raised very soon!

Volunteers Kimmy and Annette spent a big chunk of their day here doing spring cleaning on the tack room. It's looking really nice in there now! They're doing a wonderfully thorough job, they're even taking stuff home and washing/drying it in their machines at home. What great dedicated volunteers! They've also been cleaning stalls, water troughs, and other chores. A big thank you to them!

The truck had a flat, rock, and the horse trailer had a flat, nail, so Jason spent the morning getting those fixed. $4.09 for diesel now. Probably be $5 a gallon soon... We went to Berry Creek to borrow an old (mid 80's) 4-wheeler to help feed. Those bails get heavy and it's the only way with so many horses. NorCal's 4-wheeler is quickly biting the dust... If anyone has one sitting around, even if it needs simple mechanical work, the horses would love a new ride to watch their hay come on.

Patricks Day!

Our new rescue! We are working to rescue 17 horses. 16 quarter/pony crosses and 1 BLM mustang. Their owner's property is in the final stages of foreclosure. This "backyard breeder" was going to send them to the feedlot, but we were able to negotiate a two week "stay" for them, as long as we provide feed. If we do not ransom them by 3/28/08, they will be taken to the feedlot, and then on to the Mexican slaughter house. We must raise $5095 plus transporting to save them, so far we have raised $405. Click here for more info.

We submitted a grant today to the PetCo Foundation. The largest portion of the grant is for adding 25 stalls with runs to our current rescue facility and to help with feed and vet bills for the rescued equines, hopefully the 17 in the current rescue.

Jose was adopted today! He seems to love his new home with a lot of goats to play with and an awesome view of the Sacramento valley. If he can only play gently with the goats all will be well for him, but if he is too rough he will be coming back. Be nice to the baby goats Jose!

It's about 10:45 pm and all the horses are finally fed and watered. It'll all start again in a few hours.

Our Busy Sunday

Today was a very busy day. We unfortunately didn't have any adopters coming out to see the horses today, but it still was a very busy day.
Chester came back to us today as he started bucking off his adopter and they could not keep him anymore due to his bad behavior. Our trainer will soon be working with him and let's hope and pray that our trainer can help him.

Deb came out and Tawnee and her evaluated horses all day long. The yearlings got their first halter/lead lessons they all did very well, they are so mellow and sweet. All in all they got 14 horses evaluated and much more done... It may not sound like much, but believe me it was. We will have more information up on our website and Petfinder soon about all the new horses. A big thank you goes to Deb for all her great help today!

The owners of the 10 acres right next to our ranch came out for a visit today and are very pleased with the good job the horses are doing keeping the grass mowed. Thank you guys for letting the rescued horses graze and play on your land!

9 More Saved!

The latest feedlot rescue effort has been a huge success! Thank you so much for all of your generous donations to make this a reality. We will definitly sleep better this weekend knowing that these horses are not going to be drug over the border to be slaughtered. With these horses we have saved 63 equines so far this year. What a record breaking year it's been!

It was time for more hay today, and unfortunately the cheapest was right about $13.20 a bale. But the nice thing is, it's at the 4 Corners Feed in Bangor. Total mileage was less than 15 miles round trip. It's the first time we had to buy hay from a feedstore in a long time, but it was the cheapest around since the growers are all out! It's very nice not to have to travel too far with over 12,000 lbs sitting on the trailer. This load cost $1380.97. It should last a few weeks. We could really use some donations to help out with this load, our finances are strained beyond belief!

Angel, one of the yearlings we rescued at the last auction, was adopted and went to her new home today! If we hadn't of saved her, where would she be right now?

A huge thanks goes to Jennifer G for donating to pay for the horses at the last auction! She is directly responsible for 12 lives being saved! Wow, what a wonderful lady!

Birthday Party!!!

We love birthday parties, at least when it's a kid who actually wants to have another birthday, and we're so thankful that a really special little girl who's turning 8 tomorrow is going to be asking people to donate money to save horses for her birthday present. She and her mom came by today to pick up some birthday cards / donation things for her party we made up. What a great idea! It's so neat to see a young child so unselfish that she will give up getting presents just to save horses lives. She really had a lot of fun meeting the horses and watching little Magic play in the round pen. Magic enjoys getting out of her stall so much, she really puts on a show!

We mentioned the NER horse tags, and here is a picture. The tags have their NER number on it, and we write in age, adoption fee and when the equine arrived. With so many horses it really makes life easier. And they will easily break off if the horse catches it on something. In 2006 we started tagging the equines, back when we would have about 8 at a time, and then we lost interest since we could easily remember all 8 horses names and information, but now it's necessary.

We did a lot of computer work today, and now have some new software program that we will be learning that is a database for rescues. Hopefully this will make our rescue more organized and cut back on paperwork. If we do end up using this program we will be slowly adding all of our equines that we have adopted in the past. Whew, what a job! That's over 400 equines to add to a database, on at a time.

Baba was placed in adoption pending status today! She's been such a sweet little girl, she's been fostered over at Claires. Hopefully it all works out and her adopter is approved and she can go to her forever home soon!

BLM Visited

Today Jason Williams, the Northern California Wild Horse and Burro Compliance Specialist working with the BLM came by to read the brand on Blaze for us. We met him the first time at the auction last Sunday. He's a really great guy who enjoys his job and last but not least, really loves what we're doing. He said he's usually leery of "rescues" but was pleasantly surprised by what a great job we're doing and all the animals seemed happy and content. Tawnee has volunteered to become a BLM volunteer and will be checking out horses at auctions to make sure there are no mustangs being sold without an inspection.

Chicklet and Magic got to run around the Round Pen today. Magic was so excited to get out and stretch her legs! She's quite the energetic little girl who really needed a good stretching. Mommy couldn't quite remember being so young and full of energy, but was glad for a chance to roll in the soft sand. This afternoon mommy was having the baby blues as Magic was pawing at her sides as Chicklet laid in her stall trying to sleep, wishing baby wasn't so hungry. We got a video of it and should be getting it edited down and up on Youtube (and their Petfinder pages.) Maybe we'll send it to Funniest Animal Video's too.

Jazz was placed into adoption pending status this morning. Hopefully it all works out, we're looking at paying about $14 a bale for hay this time around. Grow grass grow!

Crisco's potential adopters came out to meet him today, and it was love at first sight for everyone! Crisco is usually leery and standoffish, but he almost fell asleep in their arms as they loved on him. His usually tense lip was hanging loosely, his whole body was relaxed and he really loves them. As soon as their adoption application is finalized he will be heading to his new home. They want him to have, as we recommend with all adopters, a vet check to make sure we didn't miss anything and to make sure he doesn't have any contagious diseases.

Tuesday

This morning we worked hard on getting the websites updated and emails replied too. We finished the emails, if you didn' get one and you needed a reply, please write back! We added all the new horses to Petfinder, they are not yet available for adoption but you can place a hold on one if you are interested in them. They are all still being evaluated.
Annette and Kimmy came out around mid morning. They worked really hard cleaning stalls and grooming the new horses, helping them feel at home.
Tawnee worked on getting the auction tags off, which is actually quite a chore. They really use some nasty glue on there. New horses that are trying to get to know you don't realy like having scissors taken to their rump hair either. But with enough time they all came off and Tawnee didn't get kicked. Tawnee also tagged them with their NER #'s and names. All the yearlings look about the same so this was a must!
Sally Hugg came out for about an hour this afternoon and trimmed Dusty to make him more comfortable. Dusty seems to have some pretty severe lameness that is a lot more serious that he exhbited at the auction. A lot of times horses like this have been drugged... He may have been hurt in the trailer too, but probably not, who knows? We'll plan on taking him to the vet to see what's wrong with him.
Joy came out this afternoon to evaluate horses. She is the one that went to the auction and is proving to be extremely helpful and knowlegable. She's one of our volunteer guinea pig riders for the new horses! Come to find out Jazz is broke to ride and is an absolute dream horse. She's only 5, but she would be great for a beginner/intermediate rider. She's very easy and laid back horse who needs to find the perfect home so she can live the life she deserves.

Blue Monday

Christy did not wake up this morning. We found her laying peacfully in her pen with Timmy laying near by, staring at his forever love wishing she would get up and come to be by him. Wishing she would tell him it was going to be ok. But alas, her head laid still, her breathing had slowed and finally came to an end. When Jason visited them with food and a bucket of treats early in the morning, Timmy was able to get his stiff, sore legs into motion and raise, hoping that the humans that had comforted and cared for them so much for the past 5 months would be able to make it all ok today too. As Jason gently patted Christy's still head, Timmy slowly walked over hoping that somehow Jason had the power to make his life happy again. Christy was his life, his love, and without Cristy, Timmy was unwilling to face the day.

On Saturday we had made the very difficult decision to take Timmy and Christy to the vet to have them sedated and then humanely euthanized together. Christy chose the time and place she wanted to go to sleep, but she left a bewildered, sad and confused Timmy behind. We knew we had to make the choice for the best, knowing that Timmy would die of a broken heart, in addition to all his other health problems, and so we knew we had to let him pass peacfully on, it would be the kindest thing to do. As Timmy was led away from Christy for the last time, his soft whiney's, over and over again, told the world how much he loved Christy as he said ever so softly "Goodbye my love." It was perhaps the most heart wrenching experience for all of us. We gave him his last grooming and a bucket full of fresh carrots and apples before he took the short ride to the vet. His passing was extremely peacful and I would say he was thanking us as he took his last breath. He was sedated before he was injected and he just fell asleep so peacfully.

Timmy and Christy had come to us in October undweight, uncared for, with lamenss and arthritis, and ever since then their health has been progressively getting worse. Perhaps we should have made the hard choice in November or December, but I do believe they had a happy few months living peacfully together, and their eyes until recently had been bright and cheerful, while their bodies weakened.

Our day was mostly filled with sorrwo, tears and grief, but the baby horse (7 days old now) really brings joy to our hearts. She is such a cute little girl, and her mommy is a real sweety too. We are so happy we were able to save many beautiful horses like Magic (the baby) this week.

12 Horses Saved

Today we saved half of the horses that were ran through at Roseville Livestock Auction. This is all made possible by a generous donation by Jennifer G who is donating the majority of the funds needed to make this possible! The horses cannot thank you enough!!! The youngest horse rescued today was 6 days old, and then it goes up to late teens. We rescued a lot of TB yearlings, it's a long story but they kept coming through the door, so we kept saving them. The auctioneers kept begging us to take more, "Come on, you've taken the others, take just one more!" We had 3 volunteers help us today, thanks to Joy who spent the day with us and was most helpful in evey way, and Guy and Deanna who transported the baby and her mommy up to our ranch. We would not have been able to save so many horses if Deanna and Guy didn't donate their time and gas.
It was a really big day and it was well after dark when we got the horses home. They are all settled in, munching hay and drinking nice clean water.
Enjoy the pictures, we will get more of pictures and evaluations of the horses over the coming days, for now it's goodnight time!
