A Big Auction Day!

What a great day! Tawnee was able to outbid the killer buyers and rescue 7 equines. By the time they left the auction, they had bailed out 2 other horses that their owners couldn't handle or they decided were unsuitable. It was a long busy day, Tawnee and volunteers got back at 9:00 and got the time the horses were unloaded...

settled in...

watered...

fed...

and now it's time to sleep!

Goodnight, we're going to find a soft patch of hay to sleep ourselves...

I just think that all your work is AMAZING. Those new horses are just gorgous- I hope they will be available for adoption at NorCal soon. That grey at the end is especially wonderful looking :). Congrats on a successful rescue, keep doing what you do!
