Today was a busy Friday. We got an update on Molly Brown, who was rescued from the July Roseville Livestock Auction. She is doing great! The little pony in the background is one we evacuated during the Berry Creek fires, and the owner fell in love with Molly and, after being approved to adopt, she went home.

Jason delivered Comet to his new home today. Up in the pine trees where the air was cool with a nice breeze. Comet is living with Copper Hopper now, who was adopted back in May. We are sure they will be best of friends.

Comet has had a good recovery while at the rescue, he has gained his weight well and is looking so much happier. Below is a picture of him right when he was rescued at the July auction, the same auction Molly Brown came from.

This picture was taken today right before he was loaded up for the trip to his new home. He still has a ways to go until he is up to weight, but we are confident that he will gain it back nicely in his new home. Way to go Comet!

Two more horses came into our organization today. Gracie and Nafarra arrived and are settling nicely. Gracie is a 3 y/o Belgian/QH cross. Naffara is a 15 y/o registered Arabian, nicely trained to ride and has been shown in western and halter we were told. We will have them evaluated asap.

Have a great weekend!

PS - First time ever, spell check caught no misspelled words!
