12-14-08 - Part 1

Today's auction rescue was a rousing success, in all 14 horses were rescued at the auction, and 2 were saved by a previous adopter. With the Orland auction rescue of 4 horses, that makes a total of 18 horses this month. There were a lot of people looking for Christmas pony/horse at the auction today. Tawnee, Deb and the volunteers made it back to the rescue extremely late. They had an extremely long, cold day in the driving rain, so part 2 of today's blog will be published Monday the 15th.

Thanks so much for making this auction rescue a reality!

Awww, what is wrong with the little guy above? :-( Nirvana's story nearly made me cry, so glad there was a happy ending for her!
