Sorry folks, no rescue story today, but we hope you enjoy this...

Jason and Tawnee headed out in a hurry once again. Where could they be going in such a hurry on a Friday?

Soon they were in a parking lot, and met up with Nitin Lal of Channel 12 Action News out of Chico. Where were they, and why did they need the news to come along? You probably guessed it already, a Wal-Mart.

Yes, that is right, the same folks where there, using our name to set up a booth (they did not have any NorCal signs, or signs of any charitable organization) and sell their wares. This Wal-Mart was in Marysville, and the Wal-Mart two days ago was in Yuba City, separated by only a few miles. You would have thought they had learned their lesson...

They were definitely concerned that we where there this time, especially with the news. They were claiming that they were raising funds for "Animals of America." They stated that Animals of America's coordinator had called them this morning from Modesto and told them to set up at every Wal-Mart. Funny thing is, we cannot find any signs of a charity named Animals of America, and the book inside Wal-Mart said "NorCal Equine Rescue" signed by Cliff Hoffman. They said we were harassing them and they were going to call the cops on us. Which would have been 5 minutes too late because the Yuba County Sheriff was already on their way.

Nitin asked Cliff Hoffman many questions, which made Cliff very uncomfortable and he stated he was not going to say anything until the camera was turned off.

Two days ago Cliff was telling Marie to be quiet, and kept pulling her away whispering things like "Stop talking!" This time, Marie kept pulling Cliff away and telling him to be quiet.

Nitin got some great interview material while law enforcement was doing their job.

They started packing up in a hurry.

First a deputy came, he interviewed Cliff, the WalMart manager, and NorCal staff. The deputy then called for a sergeant to come provide backup.
Wal-Mart and the sheriff asked Cliff to leave. Wal-Mart was apologetic, but it is absolutely not their fault that a scam artist target NorCal Equine Rescue. This Wal-Mart has portrayed nothing but helpfulness and professionality through this.

Cliff and Marie continued packing their things. They kept looking at Jason and Tawnee with disgusted looks on their face.

At one point Marie wanted to make sure that Jason and Tawnee knew how displeased she was with them. It was quite interesting.

Soon they were all packed up and on their way. Jason and Tawnee said goodbye to the Sheriff and the Walmart Manager and hit the road too.

Now for the fun part! You can see it in action, ActionNews did a great job, we would like to commend Nitin for doing a wonderful job today. He was even shoved around by a little old lady, thankfully he managed to maintain his balance and did not fall.
Click here to watch it online, you will definitely be amazed.

This is a post from the news comment section :
They were at the Anderson Walmart recently and had a coffee can for collecting donations. And yes................there was a sign on the coffee can claiming they were fund-raising for NorCal Equine.
