Today was a slow day at the rescue. This morning
Tawnee was listening to the radio and heard a very interesting segment regarding human consumption of horses. Some of you may want to take 16 minutes to listen to it too.

Tawnee was at the vet today and she really enjoyed visiting Phoenix. He is doing very well and is about ready to come to the rescue, just as soon as the documentary film crew can be arranged that
videoed his rescue. He is a very sweet boy and is really full of personality.
Phoenix was very stylish with his fly sheet on today to keep the pesky
fly's off his back.
Linda came to the rescue today to spend time with the horses. This is Indy, he is in adoption pending, but he sure enjoyed his ride.
Thankfully it was not too hot at all today and the horses all enjoyed being worked with. It is so wonderful having someone that diligently comes out to ride the horses.
All too soon the sun was setting over the rescue. It was a very quiet day at the rescue, it sure is nice to have those kinds of days every once in awhile.
